Emmett & Marilyn Timm - 600 High St, Webster City, IA Marilyn has been fascinated by the Barn Quilts in Hamilton County for quite sometime. She has looked at them on the Internet in different counties in Iowa and in different states. There are some house quilts in a couple of the counties in Iowa. So she decided one day that she could make one and put on her garage.
 
Her husband drew the pattern and she did the painting. The pattern is called "Mountain Variation". It is copied from a picture of a barn in Kentucky.
